So I went to Dilac for the first time a few days ago. The people were very friendly and the food was great. I recommend this little restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

guys i think this must my favorite veggie vietnamese restaurant in the bay. it's tucked away in an unassuming plaza. i found this place very randomly since it was on the way to a dance social. pretty much anything can be custom ordered allium-free, no onion, no garlic. there's also a takeout bento style area for a quick grab and go. what i have tried: pho - my fave, i get this every time. there was only one time the noodles were overcooked but very flavorful bun bo hue - also really good. can i have two favorites? bittermelon soup - pretty light, clear, and always tasty lemongrass chikn - actually so flavorful my favorite part is the carrots spring rolls - bbq protein and mock shrimpies - tbh i can't remember what i thought about these so they weren't super memorable but probably very healthy tasting mushroom congee but didn't see the mushroom - this is actually served in a pretty large bowl. i love congee so this would satisfy my congee cravings so unfortunate that i live so far

I've been coming here for over a decade. Their food is great and prices are fair. I usually get the spring rolls, BBH and bun rieu. It's my favorite Vietnamese vegan restaurant and I live in Morgan Hill.

After a long bike ride with some buddies up Mt Hamilton, carbs were the only thing on our mind. Since one of our friends is vegan, we settled on Dilac Vegetarian Cuisine to make sure everyone had plenty of options. Initially, I was a little skeptical because I've had vegetarian noodle soups, and it didn't seem possible to replace the flavors of slow cooked bone broth and fish sauce. Nevertheless, I still wanted to give the vegetarian bun bo hue a try. Honestly, I was shocked by how good it was! I'm not really sure how they accomplish the savory flavor without any pork trotters or bones, but I thought it was just as good as the meat version. I didn't mind the veggie meat at all and the texture is pretty close to Vietnamese ham and fish cakes - only thing I really missed were the cubes of pig blood usually present in my dish. I did taste my friend's pho, which was a little sweet for my taste, so I'd probably recommend sticking to the bun bo hue if you can handle a little spice. But overall, great spot, and I was super excited to have found a Vietnamese place that I could share with vegetarian friends!

After a long run, we wanted to refuel. We ordered 3 dishes and the food was plentiful for each dish, tasted healthy and high quality. The food is good for its value and we had enough food for a second meal as well. They have a variety of dishes to choose from and we need to be back to try some more...
